Welcome. For those who stumble across this blog, you will find many resources for future teachers in a secondary education setting. These resources were created by a college student in a secondary education program, myself. This blog centers around multicultural literature. In other words, this blog explores global literature. To define global literature means literary pieces that blur national boundaries. Literature that can be read anywhere and during any time period but still resonate with the reader through deep underlying theme’s. Each blog will explore these different themes that can be found in various literary works from around the world. Ranging from Eastern literature to Western. Literature during the 20th century was overwhelmed with various societal changes and art had begun to represent those changes. Some of those themes can still be seen today in the 21st century. Within each blog, there will also be lesson plans and material to be used for within the classroom. The blog is welcome to everyone. Students, teachers, critics… everyone is welcome!
